Display Field Properties - Default Value

The default data value for the display field. This may be modified to set the default value for the field to something other than blank.

Edit this property by typing new value in the Inspector.

Note

Be careful in the use of the DefaultValue property. If the display field exists on a page that is loaded as a result of a button/HREF on another page, and if data or display field values are passed from the originating page, NetDynamics will clear all values for the destination page, including the default values. This prevents the display field from displaying its default value.
